IBM Instana provides 360 degree application observability. Besides usual CPU, memory, disk IO and network metrics it collects application logs and 1 seconds granularity traces. This way we can see if something goes wrong with an application and also we can see what caused the trouble. On its easy to understand graphical UI, Instana shows the application connections and the response times and performances of the sub-components down to the API call level.

Instana can work together with IBM Concert and Turbonic, thus we will have a 360 degree observability platform: hardver monitoring – application observability – application and development security.
